Celebrity caricature – Mad Men’s Betty Draper

Happy Thanksgiving to all the Americans in the hizouse! (We are celebrating turkey day north of the border here, hence the lateness of this post.)

Today’s caricature is a quickie (about 2 hours from start to finish): Betty Draper from Mad Men, played by January Jones. I think a lot of caricature artists will agree that the hardest people to draw are the pretty ladies, and Ms. Jones is no exception. She’s got this living Barbie doll quality that makes her features already prone to exaggeration in particular areas (large eyes, tiny pert nose, petite figure).
