Brand Identity: Electric Vine Industries

Brand Identity: Electric Vine Industries

Here’s some work I did for an engineering company called Electric Vine Industries, based in Indonesia. The client needed a brand that would complement their vision: establishing themselves as a micro-grid based electricity supplier for rural communities.

They liked the idea of including an industrial, Metropolis-type feel to the visuals, with a muted palette of greys and yellows.

I came up with several treatments based on this knowledge – here’s the first round of logos, incorporating an art deco typeface and a circuit-board type tree:

Then, after some revisions and tweaking, the final logo:

In addition to the logo, I also designed the stationery, powerpoint templates, illustrated diagrams, business cards, and website, creating a coherent brand identity that will serve the company for many iterations to come.

Part of building the brand is keeping consistency with all materials that go out. A color guide is a good way to ensure colors stay within the brand identity.
