Art Deco renewed
Today’s image: the ceiling of the recently renovated Fox Theater in Spokane, WA. We took a tour and I learned a lot about the renovation process – for instance, to recreate the wall murals and the original 1930s color, they scraped away layers of paint to reveal the original wall paintings, along with accurate paint colors. Additionally, all the light fixtures and plasterwork are original. Fascinating and beautifully done!
